Reunited '80s melodic heavy rock band DRIVER — featuring powerhouse vocalist Rob Rock (IMPELLITTERI, JOSHUA, WARRIOR, AVANTASIA, AXEL RUDI PELL) and acclaimed guitarist/producer Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD, JUDAS PRIEST, SEBASTIAN BACH, ROB ROCK, TRIBE OF GYPSIES, HELLOWEEN) — will release its debut album, "Sons Of Thunder", on September 26 via Metal Heaven.
DRIVER issued a widely circulated five-song cassette EP demo in 1990 that garnered the band a dedicated worldwide following as well as attained cult status as one of the most underrated hard rock acts of its time. Since then, Rock and Roy Z have forged ahead to garner long successful careers in the music business. 2008 saw the reunion of the band which resulted in the recordings of the aforementioned CD.

Rob Rock is currently in the studio recording vocals for the new Impellitteri CD titled "Good and Evil". Rob reunites with long time friend and guitarist Chris Impellitteri for their first collaberation together since the Impellitteri "Crunch" album.

ROB ROCK LIVE CD/DVD SCHEDULED FOR 2009 AFM RECORDS RELEASE!
The "Rob Rock" band is performing at the PPUSA festival in Atlanta on September 27th 2008.
This performance will be recorded for a 2009 Live CD/DVD release on AFM records.
This super highly anticipated DVD is Rob's first OFFICIAL DVD release since the "Voice of Melodic Metal" began his 20 year singing career!
The DVD will also include bonus interviews, behind the scenes footage, and selections from current and past bands, tours, rehearsals and concert footage that has been previously unreleased.
This is also Rob's first ever LIVE CD and will feature song
performances from his four highly praised solo albums and other
selections from his past studio recordings.
A definite "MUST HAVE" for all Rob Rock fans!

The new album Garden of Chaos is now complete!
So far the reaction to the album has been fantastic!
Keep an eye out in August/September for the new release.
The album was produced by RR guitarist CJ Grimmark and co-produced by
Roy Z and Rob Rock.
Rob wrote 7 of the 11 tracks with long-time partner Roy Z, and the
other tracks were co-written by Rob with Gus G. (Firewind), CJ
Grimmark, Bob Rossi, and Liza Rock.
The album was mixed and mastered at Hansen Studios in Denmark by Jacob
Hansen.

Hansen.
The new album is called "Garden of Chaos" and will be released on AFM
Records Worldwide and JVC/Victor Entertainment for Japan/Asia later
this year.
